Lithuania

Lithuania is the largest of the Baltic states, and its capital, Vilnius, has a baroque old town that’s earned UNESCO recognition. Beyond the city, the Curonian Spit offers sand dunes and pine forest along the coast, a landscape unlike anywhere else nearby. History runs deep here, including sites tied to the Soviet era and Jewish heritage. Like its neighbors, Lithuania stays budget-friendly compared to most of Western Europe.
